Monday Sep 9 @ 09:09pmI take back all the reservations I had about the Paralympics, it’s been amazing and I’ve really enjoyed it so far! I didn’t think I would without the gymnastics and diving, which had been two of my favourites in the Olympics but I’ve really enjoyed the swimming, cycling and track. I think all the different classifications and things bring another interesting element to the sports. I may actually be liking it more than the Olympics.
I dunno what I’m gonna do when it’s all over. Though after seeing how big the Brazilian Paralympic team is maybe I will try and go to Rio after all. The country must be pretty wheelchair friendly. ;D
Another thing I’m really enjoying is the after show The Last Leg. Some people aren’t happy with it because of the kind of humour in it but I think it’s really refreshing to be able to joke about disability and it not be with the aim of making fun but to laugh with the disabled (people if you wish) instead. I mean it’s what I’ve been doing for years and trying to get others to do.
Remember kids, something’s only offensive if you let it offend you. ;D
